#CANCELLED is a project that me and Rhiannon Mackenzie (Director of Photography and Writer) came up with after the COVID-19 Pandemic begin and we started to see more and more influencers that we adored getting cancelled online. What we noticed that most of the who were people getting cancelled were getting cancelled from things that were taken out of context, when they are actually really great people. I think the main thing I want #CANCELLED to do is show people that there is always more to a story online then you can see.
We shot this film on iPhone and we created almost all of the elements from scratch. We shot the film as if it was taken in one continuous shot as if we are seeing a real live stream. This was an amazing project to work on because of how creative we had to get in post-production.
